Born and raised in South Carolina, Matthew was classically trained in
acting and received a B.A. in Communication, and a B.A. in Acting from
The College of Charleston (Charleston, SC).
Matthew has performed, written, directed, and produced film and theater at the educational and professional level. He has also had the opportunity to work (actor, writer, director, and producer) internationally and domestically in various films and theater festivals (Spoleto Festival USA, Hawaiian Arts Festival, Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival, Australia).
