Matteo Leoni, born in Italy and with Colombian descent, is well known for the role of Tinelli played in the highly successful sit-com "Quelli Dell'Intervallo" (2005-2009) and various other Spin-offs, produced by Disney Channel Italy. At the age of 19, after finishing his studies, he moved to Rome to study at the CSC (Centro Sperimentale Di Cinematografia - Cinecittà), where he discovered his love for cinema. After achieving graduation, he started his career on the big screen based in Rome. He was part of the cast of films such as "Sapore Di Te" directed by the Vanzina brothers, "Call Me Francisco" directed by Daniele Luchetti and distributed on Netflix. Meanwhile he continued to enrich his acting knowledge studying and working in other countries such as Spain, Colombia, USA (Los Angeles). He co-starred in Italian films such as "The Startup: Accendi Il Tuo Futuro" and international films such as "El Caso Watson" produced and filmed in Colombia by the national channel CaracolTv. In 2018 he created, scripted and was the artistic director of an English-language sitcom for Disney Channel entitled "School Hacks," currently broadcast on Disney+ in Italy. In the same year he was cast as co-star in "Lamborghini" directed by Oscar winner Robert (Bobby) Moresco. After the Covid pandemic, he moved to Fuerteventura (Canary Islands).
