Stella Pecollo is a multifaceted artist: actress, singer, dancer, radio-TV presenter, voice actress, writer and fashion designer, with work experiences both in Italy and in the UK and USA.
Some of the titles that have seen her protagonist in movies and on the small screen are Massimo Venier's "Il giorno in più" alongside Fabio Volo, "Riccardo goes to hell" by Roberta Torre alongside Massimo Ranieri, "Gore "Directed by Michael Hoffman alongside Kevin Spacey and Michale Stuhlbarg.
Her latest works include the musical "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" directed by Federico Bellone, the film "Siberia", directed by Abel Ferrara alongside Willem DaFoe and finally co-star of the hit TV series "Extravergine" with Lodovica Comello.
In May 2020, the first book written by Stella was released, entitled "I am beautiful - lightness is not a question of weight" published by Sperling & Kupfer. In this book Stella shares her experience with body shaming, bullying and the path that led her to total and absolute acceptance of herself, unique and special as she is.
The book has met with great success, beautiful reviews and many positive comments from readers, who write to Stella on social media every day, recognizing themselves in her story and thanking her for everything she does for the world of body positivity.
She stars alongside the American actor Tomas Arana in "Soldier under the moon", and in the TV series "Unwanted" directed by the Oscar winning director Oliver Hirshbiegel. She just filmed a leading role in the feature film "Dedalus", distributed by Eagle Pictures.
On March 20th 2022 Stella kicked off her latest revolutionary project to break stereotypes and create a more inclusive world: her clothing line "Stella Pecollo fashion revolution".
It is an inclusive line without size, where every dress designed by her together with the brand team breaks the stereotypes of the fashion world. Instead of the sizes Stella has decided to insert adjectives and motivational phrases.
