"Panda Run" won 2nd Place Best Mixed Media at the International Family Film Festival Youthfest in Hollywood and his 48 Hour Film Project "Another Place" won 1st Prize Best Use of Prop for the Inland Empire. "Van Dexter, Vampire Slayer Begins" was nominated "Best Guerrilla Film Short" Action On Film International Festival in the Los Angeles area. His film "Beach Day" was an Official Selection there. "Free Headshots" and "Van Dexter, Vampire Slayer" have been Official Selections of the Anchorage International Film Festival.
He is a filmmaker that does it all: writing, acting, cinematography, directing, producing, composing, singing, performing, sound and ADR engineering, dance and stunt choreography, editing, and special effects editing. Gary has worked in movies, television, and print in every capacity where he started off producing TV shows at Cable 61 Public Access, writing for a regional newspaper and the International Magazine "Electronic Musician".
He is also founding CEO of the AiRightsCollective and founding Director of the Temecula Independent Film Festival of the Hollywood and Los Angeles California Wine Country.
