Rufus Parker is an entrepreneurial wizard, having started and overseen multiple companies to overwhelming success. While slicing his niche in information technology, he sustained an equally indelible passion for film-making. Rufus produced his first mainstream Hollywood project, "Starve" which premiered on NBC Universal's SYFY network, and went on to become a home video success with distribution deals made with Redbox and Amazon Video. Rufus recently produced "Under the Silver Lake" starring Andrew Garfield, distributed by A24, "Wild Nights With Emily" starring Molly Shannon Amy Seimetz, distributed by Universal and "Flinch", a crime drama that was self-released in association with Blockbuster. A recently finished a project, "City of Dreams" - tells the story of a young teenager from Mexico whose dreams of becoming a soccer star are shattered when he's sold to a sweatshop in downtown LA. Roadside Attractions distributed the film theatrically on August 30th, 2024.
