LaNell Cooper

LaNell Cooper was born in Chinon, France December 14, 1961 to a career Army father and homemaker mother. She was raised in Columbia, South Carolina where her parents were both born and raised. Her acting aspirations began in 2nd grade when she had a solo performance of Bless This House for her elementary school's Thanksgiving Holiday Fest. But as a single mother of three, her acting goals were put on hold to raise her children. In 2009, she began her career in acting working background with Central Casting, Los Angeles, on several of her favorite television shows and films; whereby she quickly became a rather successful commercial actress and could be seen in ad campaigns for Blue Shield of California, Nationwide Insurance and Edward Jones. She eventually found herself on costar roles in Criminal Minds, 9-1-1 and Why Women Kill which recently lead to her current role of protagonist in the short film Mother, which was accepted into the Sherman Oaks Film Festival of 2022.
