Scott Charles Marvin

Born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. Studied Radio and Television Broadcasting at Lansing Community
College before joining the US Army in 1987. Served two years in the Infantry (Fort Polk, LA), then moved to California to pursue education and media arts. Reenlisted in the Army (Reserve) as a newspaper journalist and later retrained in radio and television broadcasting leading to a total of 20 years service. Won several Keith L. Ware broadcast awards for Spot Announcement productions. Served in Bosnia-Herzegovina (1996-97) and Iraq (2003-04); awarded Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medals (3), and Army Achievement Medals (2) for service. Diligent single father of three boys Nicolai, and twins Maxwell and Roman. Earned Bachelor's degrees in Liberal Studies, English and Psychology and a Masters in Education with a California teaching credential in multiple subjects (K - 8 grades). Continues work in the arts as a voice-over artist in a variety of projects and a graphic arts writer, photographer, illustrator, director, and producer for Very Punny (visual comics).
