Bunker is a horror film directed by Adrian Langley starring Eddie Ramos, Luke Baines and Julian Feder.
A film with a single set in which the director gives it his all so that, although the shortcomings are noticeable, they go as unnoticed as possible and thus show his skills with the camera.
He manages to show them, making an entertaining film that, being a B Series, comes out well thanks to the efforts of the entire cast.
Be warned: low budget.
Movie Review
Well – very well – shot, but with few means. As for the script, it is not something completely original that will go down in the history of cinema and it seems (due to the budget) to be an ”early on in my career” film.
It has its virtues in one of those films that gives all it can with what it has: some careful actors (not much more...

"There is no way out." Lionsgate has revealed an official trailer for an indie horror film titled Escape the Field, marking the feature debut of writer / director Emerson Moore. It's arriving to watch in early May for those curious to find out what's going on. The fear is inescapable in this horror-thriller about six strangers who suddenly awaken in a remote, endless cornfield. Stripped of their possessions, they are left with only six items: a gun with a single bullet, matches, a lantern, a knife, a compass, a flask of water. Escape the Field is the second major "stuck in an endless field" movie, following Vincenzo Natali's In the Tall Grass in 2019. This one looks like it has a few more twists, and seems a bit more like Cube or Saw or an Escape Room than Natali's supernatural thriller. Starring Jordan Claire Robbins, Theo Rossi, Tahirah Sharif, Julian Feder,...

Years ago, when DVD was in its infancy, I used to frequent a few DVD forums where people would discuss not only this new format but also have in-depth discussions about films that never made it to these shores – oftentimes due to said films getting fancy limited edition box set release; and sometimes (cough) bootleg (cough) discs of certain, more exploitative, films would be passed between members.
That’s how I discovered Versus, the third film from director Ryûhei Kitamura – as a bootleg Dvdr. A bootleg without subtitles, without any information beyond the sheer enthusiasm other people had for the film. And I was blown away. Versus‘ reputation kept growing, eventually getting a legitimate UK DVD release from the now-defunct Tartan Films.

Annette Bening, Bill Nighy and Josh O’ Connor are ready to deal with some serious family issues in the drama Hope Gap. Screen Media Ventures and Roadside Attractions released the film today on digital platforms after having to pivot from their originally planned March 5 theatrical release due to the pandemic –because the show must go on.
Directed by Oscar-nominated screenwriter William Nicholson and based on his Tony Award-nominated play, The Retreat From Moscow, Hope Gap made its world premiere at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival before hitting the festival circuit.
Hope Gap follows the lives of Grace (Bening) and Edward (Nighy), who have been married for 29 years, as they navigate through stages of shock, disbelief and anger, to a place of hope. In Walkaway Joe, a young boy searches for his father in pool halls across the country, which makes me very glad that my father came home every day from his job and lay down on the couch in the living room, not to be disturbed until dinnertime. Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays the father, so I'm guessing that his spirit will loom large in his son's quest for closure and/or reconciliation. (Julian Feder stars as the son.) Morgan is very good at looming, so that bodes well for the film. Even better, the great David Strathairn portrays "a wandering loner hiding from his past," according to the official synopsis, which kinda makes him sound like a Samurai, doesn't it? The trailer fails to show Mr. Strathairn...

David Strathairn instantly makes anything in which he appears more interesting, merely by his always dramatic presence. His appears in Walkaway Joe, about halfway through a new trailer, and elevates what looks like a somewhat rudimentary father/son drama. Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays the father, and he's certainly a combustible personality who can create dramatic sparks, while Julian Feder essays the glum, cheerless son. After they go their separate ways, though, things ignite when David Strathairn appears on the scene, instantly compelling my closer attention. The official synopsis describes the film as "the story of an unlikely friendship between a young boy searching for his father in pool halls across the country, and a wandering loner hiding from his past. Quiver Distr. has debuted an official trailer for a southern drama titled Walkaway Joe, marking the feature directorial debut of actor Tom Wright.
