Kevin Alexander Boon was born in Tampa, Florida and reared in the
unrelenting heat. As a young man, he acted in local theater and
performed music at various venues in Tampa and Atlanta, GA before
earning his doctorate in English and fleeing Florida for cooler
climates. After a brief stint in New York City, he settled in
Pennsylvania where he teaches, writes books, composes music, and makes
films.
