After earning a science degree from the University of Malta, Nicholas made a bold decision in his mid-twenties to pivot to acting, moving to London to pursue professional training. This daring career change soon paid off, leading to compelling performances in theatre and on screen.

His Mediterranean heritage has opened doors to a variety of roles, including a Syrian Officer in Apple TV's 'Liaison' alongside Vincent Cassel and Eva Green, and a French prison jailer in the 2024 limited series 'The Count of Monte Cristo', directed by Bille August.

Beyond acting, Nicholas is a qualified pronunciation coach with a deep fascination for etymology and linguistics. He speaks conversational French, Italian, and Arabic, and embraces an active lifestyle as a regular gym-goer, avid swimmer, and advocate of cold-water therapy.
