Amanda was born in Paris, France where she lived with her family until
they moved to Geneva, Switzerland where her father then worked as a
pianist for George Balanchine's ballet company, Le Ballet du Grand
Theatre de Geneve. They later moved to New York City where her father
joined the New York City Ballet and her mother began teaching fine art.
Amanda became interested in theater and ballet at an early age and
performed in numerous off-Broadway plays and dance performances. Amanda
studied acting privately at Julliard. She appeared in several plays
with the Steps Theatre Company under Moscow Art Theatre actor/director
Slava Stepnov. She later graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a degree
in French Literature and Mandarin Chinese Studies. She now lives in Los
Angeles where she continues to work as an actress. She remains
bicoastal.
