On November 16, which is the third Friday, the Tfpc has permitted the release of four movies – Sei, Uththravu Maharaja, Kaatrin Mozhi and Chithiram Pesuthadi 2. While the four films are gearing up for release, news surfaced that Vijay Antony’s Thimiru Pudichavan will also be out at the theatres on the same day. This film was supposed to be a Diwali release but was postponed for various reasons. Being a high budget film, the Tfpc hasn’t given clearance for Thimiru Pudichavan to release on November 16 as it would affect the prospects of other movies at the box office.

Chennai, Oct 7: West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo, who turned 30 Monday, spent the day shooting for a song for upcoming Tamil drama "Ula".
"Getting ready to start filming for the day, great way to spend my birthday, thanks India! Lights, camera, action time! Chennai's newest film star," posted Bravo on his Twitter page.
The song will be used for promotional purposes for the film, which is being directed by Rajan Madhav, while his brother Sajan Madhav composed the tunes.
Bravo is very popular figure in Chennai as he is a key player home team Chennai Super Kings. Apart from good player, he is also known for his dancing skills.
The film also features Vidharth, Ajmal Amir, Radhika Apte and Gayathrie in lead.

Chennai, Oct 6: Known for his impromptu dance moves on the cricket field, West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo is all set to groove to a song in upcoming Tamil drama "Ula".
The yet-to-be composed song will be used for promotional purposes for the film.
"We are planning to shoot the promotional song with Dwayne in a couple of weeks. It's a very special song and I'm sure the audiences are going to love it. He was very generous to say 'yes' to the song instantaneously," the film's director Rajan Madhav told Ians.

"Our producer approached him through a common friend. He is known for his freestyle dancing and we want to capitalize.

Chennai, Jan 3: Tamil actor Prasanna, known for films such as "Sadhu Miranda" and "Anjathe", couldn't have asked for a better new year. He is happy with the line-up of films in his kitty.
"Starting shoot for 'Kalyana Samayal Saadam' today. 2013 has started off well with a good line-up. For the first time doing a Telugu film with Nagarjuna sir," Prasanna tweeted.
He also has two more Tamil films in his bag.
"Also a film with my friend Marimuthu who did 'Kannum Kannum' earlier with me and next with Arun Vaidhyanathan and Rajan Madhav," he added.
"Kalyana Samayal Saadam", a romantic comedy, is directed by R.S.
