- Brooke Walker is a local Vancouver actress, who grew up in the West Kootenays. Brooke had always loved to act ever since she was a little girl. She was involved in her local community theatre growing up. She knew this was her true calling after being an extra and on set on the film "Bobby Jones Stroke of Genius" in St Andrews Scotland, while on an exchange for school. She then was accepted into the Vancouver Film School in 2007, and graduated in 2008. She had been awarded best actress for Vancouver Film School's 48 hour film festival. A couple years later she won best actress in 2011 Vancouver's 24 Film Festival, for the short film "Schnitzel or Spaetzle" Brooke took a break from acting in 2010 to stay at home and raise her daughter. As much as she loves her job as an actress, being a Mom to her is the most rewarding job there is. She learns so much from her daughter not only on a personal level, but as an actress as well. Brooke has worked on several local Award Winning Independent Films (such as "3 Hours Till Dead", and starred in "Bigfoot Country"). She has worked in theatre, and has just recently produced and starred in "Good Egg" A play, written by the Award Winning Playwright Dorothy Fortenbury. She is always looking for new and interesting characters to explore and bring to life.
