His mother named him after Captain Ross Poldark from the novels by Winston Graham.

I make a point to listen to thematic music fitting to either my character or the movie as a whole.

I wish that I had an easy one size fits all answer to how this was overcome, but I do not. I would not say that any of it is overcome to the point that it does not exist. However, in time, I learnt to manage it as best I could.

I read a lot of actor and entertainer autobiographies and biographies. I love the genre in general, as truth is always more compelling than fiction, but I do read an excessive amount of ones about actors. I love learning what problems they faced and how they overcame them.

Do as much as you can as often as you can.
