Born in Mumbai, Vinita Shinde is a retired Assistant Matron from Bombay Port Trust Hospital. Her Passion for acting started in the year 1977 as child artist. Along with her professional career she pursued her passion for acting. She started doing theatre from the year 1978 since then she has done many plays like Maansala Dankha Maticha, Pati Gale Ga Kathewadi, Kai Vattel Te, Mumbaiche Kawale, Bin Panyane, Ashwamedh, Eka Bhutache Bhagadhyeya, Devacha Dev Bai Thakada, Bajar Battu, Natasamrat, Mangalyache Lene, & Vada Chirebandi - being the most recent one. She has also acted in serials - Rang Maza Vegla as Mai, Karan Gunhyala Maafi Nahi as Khabri Maushi. Her feature film experience includes Tighi, Dombivli Fast, Samar ek Sangharsha, Mumbaicha Dabewala, Shambhar Karod.
