- Viviana Serna Ramírez was born in Cali, Colombia, to parents from Valle Del Cauca. She was raised in Armenia, Colombia and found a penchant for acting at an early age. As an elementary school student, she actively participated in arts programs as a radio host, a member of the performing arts club and the dance ensemble. Her career soon progressed when she was selected to host a local tv program at the age of 13. At the age of 17, she moved to Bogotá, Colombia, to pursue formal acting training. There she studied under Alejandra Borrero, Juan Pablo Félix, Ana María Sánchez and Grace Denoncourt. At the age of 19, Viviana booked her first series regular role in the primetime tv series "Confidencial". She subsequently had roles in several tv series such as "La Viuda Negra", " La Bruja", "La Ronca de Oro", "Quién Eres Tú", "Señora Acero", "El Señor de Los Cielos 3", "Guerra de Idolos" and "Narcos México season 2". Viviana's most recent released project is "Supertitlán", a Mexican television sitcom adapted from the American series Superstore, produced by Universal Studios and Dopamine. Currently, Viviana is filming "Las Pelotaris", a drama series produced by The MediaPro Studio and VixPlus between Mexico and Spain.
Viviana acted in her first feature film as Giselle in "Between Sea and Land" (World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award for acting for Vicky Hernández and Manolo Cruz, World Cinema Audience Award: Drama at Sundance 2016). This role also won her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Scottsdale International Film Festival 2016. Two years later, Viviana shot the Mexican Comedy film "Tramposos Con Suerte" (2018).
Viviana currently resides between Mexico City and Los Angeles, California, and has served as brand ambassador for Brands such as Reebok, H&M, Herbal Essences, Tequila Don Julio and Steve Madden. She recently began training with acting coach John Markland in LA.
