Steve is a lifelong actor and nature lover. His first full role was in The Tempest playing Gonzalo in his high school production. Since then he's performed in over a hundred plays, films, and live events.
Steve grew up in Baltimore and studied Biology and Theater at St. Mary's College. There he was privileged to train in Kabuki and Kyogen styles of theater. Notably he was in the first English translation of the Kabuki play 'The Road to Kyoto' as the sinister Samurai Oomura. Later he would pursue a career in veterinary care and eventually bio-medical research at the National Institutes of Health. While in Washington DC he was a prolific short film producer in addition to his regular appearances on stage throughout the region. During this time he was an Associated Artist with Faction of Fools, one of the nation's top Commedia dell'Arte Theater Companies.
