- New York born, Bronx raised filmmaker Nicholas Ortiz showed a passion for films at a young age, regularly watching the at home VHS collection and raiding local video stores for films. It wasn't until the age of 13 when a chance viewing of "The Evil Dead" that convinced Nicholas to pursue filmmaking as a career.
Since then, Nicholas has made nearly 30 short film, music videos and a feature film. He strives to make films featuring characters and setting from his upbringing whilst also playing in genres like action and horror with great aplomb.
