She was awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2024 King's Birthday Honours List for her services to Heritage. She is a Professor and Chief Executive Officer of the Heritage Education Trust and Joint Chief Curator in Historic Royal Palaces in London, England.
