Cynthia Mersten

Cynthia Mersten graduated from UCLA's School of Theatre, Film and Television. She additionally studied at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts and the British American Drama Academy. She's performed in a variety of theatre, films, television, and webisodes. Cynthia has written multiple screenplays that have achieved recognition at the Austin Film Festival, the Atlanta Film Festival, Flicker's Rhode Island, and many more. Cynthia's half-hour pilot, "Always A Bridesmaid" won the Raindance Film Festival in London, 2023. She likes to write about characters on the margins and create more opportunities for actors from underrepresented backgrounds.
