Amy Clites is an actor/writer/producer who has been working in the
entertainment business for 20 years. She is a founding member of the
NYC-based theatre company Theatre Lila and is one-half of the comedy
duo Bertie & Margie with longtime collaborator Lita Lopez (find them on
YouTube at www.youtube.com/user/BertieAndMargie). You can also see her
in a funny Wisk Deep Clean commercial which has surpassed two million
views on YouTube (http://youtu.be/rJ8CvfB1tJg).
Amy holds an MFA in Acting from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN. She has studied improv at LA's prestigious comedy theatre Upright Citizens Brigade.
Amy produced the west coast premiere of the Geoffrey Rush/Neil Armfield adaptation of Eugene Ionesco's Exit the King for Classical Theatre Lab in West Hollywood. She has worked in the development departments at Madison Road Entertainment and Cookie Jar Entertainment, and works a freelance development producer for various networks and production companies.
