- He grew up in Melbourne but later moved to a farm in Daylesford.

- He has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Anthropology and Film from Melbourne University, He graduated in 2012.
- On August 19th 2016 he walked the 100km "Oxfam Trailwalker Australia" in Sydney with her team "The Wanderers". The team was Jackson, Leeanna Walsman, Danielle Cormack and Danny Clayton. They walked the 100km in 26 hrs and 12 minutes.
