Amanda is an NYC-based actress, singer and dancer from New Jersey. Fluent in French and German, she attended college in Switzerland, and went on to study at AMDA New York. She has appeared extensively in theatre, film and television, and as a concert artist throughout the US and internationally.
Amanda made her film debut in "Last Days of Simon" and starred in "Cancer and Cake," winning awards at the Garden State Film Festival and the GAA Film Festival. Eager to create her own work, she also wrote, produced, and starred in Mis(s)Communication - a web series about a disgraced ex-pageant queen who stumbles upon a new career as a standardized patient, an actor for medical students.
Amanda originated the role of Gracie in HIT Entertainment's "Angelina Ballerina: Off-Broadway and on tour, and played Mabel in Scranton Shakespeare Festival's "The Pirates of Penzance," co-produced by Douglas Carter Beane. She was recently seen at the National Opera Center and on television as Lena in "Lady of the Castle."
Most recently, she starred as Eleven in "Stranger Things: The Experience," an immersive production bringing audiences directly into the world of the Netflix hit series. She is also a principal singer on the new musical cast album "Kalevala," starring Ramin Karimloo and Julia Murney.
On camera, she is the perfect older sister who serves up savage shade on an exquisitely decorated platter, the brilliant forensics expert who decodes Russian cryptograms for fun, and the cutting-edge young doctor determined to save the world.
Also an avid dancer, Amanda studied classical ballet with Irine Fokine and Deborah Wingert. She is also a company dancer and guest singer with the Niall O'Leary Irish Dance Troupe, having notable performed with Gaelic Storm of "Titanic" fame.
