Joaquim Barreto (b. 1975, Lisbon) is a London-based filmmaker and photographer. From a multicultural background traveling across Australia and China, Joaquim completed a Masters of Arts (Fashion Photography) in 2005 at the University of the Arts, London, (LCF). Since then, his interest is focused on both film and photography. Joaquim Barreto combines a contemporary approach informed by advanced technologies, with a passion for storytelling through both still and moving images. In 2007, Joaquim directed his first short film and since then he has directed and produced many commercial assignments.
