Born in Athens, Greece, Eleni Lomvardou holds a Masters degree in Film Scoring and Music Technology from NYU, and a Bachelor in Music Composition from The Crane School Of Music, State University Of New York. Lomvardou is a film and media composer, producer, studio owner (Studio 34 Music Productions in Athens, Greece). She has written music for numerous international theatrical productions, T.V. game shows and prime time series aired on Greek national television. Also she has composed music for short films and documentaries awarded in American, and International Film Festivals. Lomvardou is a GOLD PRIZE Winner at the Orchestral Composition Category of the 2023 WORLD CLASSICAL MUSIC AWARDS, and also a winner at the Orchestral Composition Category of the 2023 AMADEUS COMPOSITION AWARD. She has collaborated with New York choreographers and written music for dance pieces that participated in American Dance Festivals in New York, and Washington, D.C. She also collaborated with the School of Fine Arts in Athens and the Paris 8, CITU research center of paragraphe laboratory, for an interactive video art exhibition at the BENAKI Museum in Athens, Greece, and at the FUTUR EN SEINE FESTIVAL in Paris. Her music was featured on BR-Klassik Bavarian Broadcasting Radio Station in June of 2022 on their weekly Cinema Music Show, and on WQXR's 24hr Marathon of Emerging Female Composers in August of 2014. WQXR-FM (105.9 FM) is an American classical radio station that serves the New York City metropolitan area. It is the most-listened-to classical-music station in the United States, with an average quarter-hour audience of 63,000. On the air since 1939, the station is also one of the oldest continuously operating FM stations in the world. Her music was also featured several times on WPRB 103.3 FM. WPRB is a commercial, non-profit radio station located in Princeton, New Jersey, operated by the students of Princeton University. On May 21st of 2022 her Symphonic Work premiered at the 2022 International Composers Festival in Sussex, England. On March 1st of 2015 her piece "DIASTASIS (DIMENSION)" premiered in New York City at the "MANHATTAN PRODUCERS ALLIANCE 2015 CONCERT @ SPECTRUM, NYC". Her article "Love at First Sight: Music for Film and the Media" was published in the IAWM (International Alliance for Women in Music) Spring 2015 Journal. On March 27th of 2016, she participated with her piece "THE COURTYARD OF MIRACLES" at the "MANHATTAN PRODUCERS ALLIANCE 2016 ANNUAL CONCERT" in New York City. In June 15th of 2016 she participated with her piece "TELOS TRITIS" at the Jazz Concert that was jointly presented at the Zinc Jazz Bar, in New York City, by the Manhattan Producers Alliance Organization and the Eclectix Chamber Orchestra, Inc. On April 12th of 2017, her piece "TWO FOR THE SEESAW" for Jazz Quintet was performed at the Eclectix Chamber Orchestra, Inc. / Manhattan Producers Alliance Organization World Jazz Concert in New York City at the Zinc Jazz Bar.
