Arani Sen is a multi-talented Writer, Director, Producer and Editor with an MFA in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, and is based in Toronto. His experience of growing up, studying and working in the Middle East, US, India & Canada has helped him in pushing the scope of creativity in his work in all realms of media, from live action to animation and visual effects.
Throughout his career, he has led many projects to create films across various media formats from features, series, documentaries, to broadcast television and shorts. His short film '6 Women' won awards at film festivals in Los Angeles and India, and has been widely appreciated in film festivals in the New York City area, Berlin, Switzerland and Ireland.
When not directing, producing or editing, he can be found writing scripts, or enjoying shows on food and cars.
