Mignon Farmani American Actress born in Compton California Daughter to African American Mother Patricia Farmani and Iranian Father Gallerist Hossein Farmani. Mignon Farmani started her acting journey 15 years ago studying with Acting Coach to the Stars Aaron Speiser in Beverly Hills Ca., she also studied extensively in Musical Theater with Professor Christa Havenhill at Chaffey College and Commercial Training with Coach Mike Pointer. Mignon is known for portraying challenging and unique roles like "Naadia Khouri" in "Staged" The Series, "Sandra Mc Gee" in Oxygen's "Buried in the Backyard", exciting Musical Theater roles like "Dorothy" in "The Wiz" with nightly sold out crowds. Mignon can be spotted in many national commercials airing across the globe or in Animation voice over roles like "Persia the Pussycat" on NatGeoAfterDark in "The CatNapper". Taking on the role of Tiana Shaheed in Sicko touched close to home, being the Daughter of a Middle Eastern Father and a Mother herself, Mignon felt a strong connection with this too often true story and a mothers struggle to protect their child. It was her desire to bring Tiana to life and deliver a heartfelt performance that would invoke a conversation leading to more understanding and love in the human race.
