Jason W. Schaver
- Producer
- Writer
- Director
Jason Wayne Schaver was born in Clinton, IA on August 3rd, 1977. He was
pretty small for his age and was also very shy. He excelled in baseball
and usually started at second base and made most of the local traveling
All Star teams in Little League. In the summer he would often be found
working on his grandmother's farm doing all sorts of chores. In his mid
20's he started writing screenplays (what would later become "The Truth
About Average Guys" and "S.O.L.")
In 2008 he shot his first feature, "The Truth About Average Guys", with friend Ken Gayton. It went on to secure a distribution deal and win numerous awards at film festivals across the country. That gave Jason the confidence to shoot his 2nd film, "S.O.L.", which also won a couple awards and received critical praise as well. He hopes that his 3rd feature film, "Wingmen Incorporated", will put him on the map and help get him smaller roles in bigger budgeted comedies while he continues to make a name for himself in the low/no budget comedy genre.
