Leslie Beard
Leslie Beard is a Business Administration student at Georgia Southern
University. She graduated from Statesboro High School in Statesboro, Georgia
in 2006, where she was Drum Major of the middle school marching band,
and later, became Drum Major of the high school marching band. She
previously served as the Librarian and Section Leader. Additionally,
she was a member of her school's top band, the Wind Ensemble, for 3
years. Leslie was also a member of the Statesboro Dance School for 10
years.
She is working with her dad in opening a sporting goods store in Statesboro, where they hope to get involved with the Archery in the Schools Program, to get kids away from computers and TVs, through putting them in a family oriented sport that isn't race, gender, or GPA specific. Leslie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and any outdoor sport, including training her two lab puppies, Tatum and Raimey.
