Marco Pelzel
- Visual Effects
Marco Pelzel started his work as digital compositing artist parallel to
his studies in "Applied Media-Sciences" , and up to this day has been
active as Compositing - and VFX-artist in numerous national, as well as
international companies.
At the starting point of his career, his work consisted mainly of commercials for clients like BMW and ProSieben (German TV), but soon thereafter many feature-film releases were added to his portfolio. Today his name has been added to the credits of known national and international feature-films, such as "Gamer", "Underworld" and "Percy Jackson and the Olympians".
Marco has now taken the responsibility, as VFX-Supervisor for Advertisement and Film Productions, to transform the impossible into real, palpable moving images. His goal as artist is to achieve perfection and the closest-possible fidelity towards what we see as real. His responsibilities extend beyond the execution of projects, namely working with the breakdown of screenplays, budgeting and set-supervision during shoots. It is very important for Marco that visual effects don't look like such, but instead are seen as a part of the picture, aiding in the narrative of movies.
