Close friends with Ben Loyd Holmes and Domonic Le Moignan after the three co-starred in the feature film 'The Hike'. Daniel and Ben met when they first worked together on Whitechapel but the three of them spent a lot of time hanging out before they began shooting 'The Hike' in order to have that close bond on screen.
