Gus Kelley

Augustus (Gus) Kelley's mother was a single parent raising four children while his father did time in prison on a drug conspiracy charge. Born in Cambridge Massachusetts, they moved to Wisconsin when he was 5. Although raised in poverty, he excelled in school and after graduating he joined the Army and excelled at that too, receiving many awards, several medals and eventually being granted a commission as an officer. In 1995 he returned to the east coast and has been working as an actor ever since. In 2003 he earned an MFA in Theater Arts from Brandeis University. After years of performing with many of the theater companies in Boston, he left the stage to focus exclusively on film in 2005. A lifelong cycling enthusiast, he is a licensed cat 3 bicycle road racer with the USCF (2011). He is married and has two children.
