No matter the weather, it’s always the perfect Time of the Season for The Zombies. Their new album is called Different Game, and everyone plays like they were dealt a perfect hand. But it’s the fingers of founding keyboardist Rod Argent, drummer Steve Rodford, guitarist Tom Toomey, bassist Søren Koch, and the throat of original lead singer Colin Blunstone that propel the music.
Director Robert Schwartzman’s documentary, Hung Up on a Dream, which will have its world premiere at SXSW, looks back at The Zombies’ 60-year career: the first British Invasion band to write themselves into American pop history after The Beatles with “She’s Not There,” the Rock Hall of Famers’ Odessey and Oracle is in the Top 100 of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The group is looking forward.

From the crime-ridden streets of White Collar Hooligan to venturing into deep space to find a new home for humanity Actor/Director, Simon Phillips certainly has his work cut out for him as he takes the driving seat both in front and behind the camera in Sci-Fi thriller, The Last Scout.

Set 48 years into the future with only a handful of humanity left it’s down to the crew of the Pegasus to find a whole new world to inhabit. Phillips teams up again with Paul Tanter, who wrote and directed the White Collar Hooligan trilogy and now steps into the producer role as well as providing the screenplay on a story which takes its inspiration from Tanter’s love of sci-fi series Red Dwarf and Star Trek. The Last Scout has a cast that includes Phillips, Blaine Gray...

You've got to check out this trailer for an incredible looking film in development called The Last Scout. This is an independent film directed by Simon Phillips, and he made it on a shoestring budget. He is currently trying to raise funds through Indiegogo so that he can finish the VFX and other post-production work. The movie is a sci-fi space thriller, and from what I've seen in this trailer this looks like it could be an incredibly impressive movie for what they've had to work with to make it.
The story takes place in the year 2065, and earth has been destroyed after a nuclear war between the East and the West. It kind of has the same vibe as Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, as mankind is forced to leave earth to try and survive by finding a new home.
The movie stars Rita Ramnani, Peter Woodward, Simon Phillips, Rebecca Ferdinando,...

Puppet Master X: Axis Rising (2012)
Directed By: Charles Band
Written By: Charles Band & Shane Bitterling
Starring: Kip Canyon (Danny), Jean Louise O’Sullivan (Beth), Oto Benzina (Freuhoffer), Scott King (Moebius), Brad Potts (Seargent Stone), Kurt Sinclair (Major Collins), Stephanie Sanditz (Uschi), Paul Thomas Arnold (General Porter), Terumi Shimazu (Ozu)
Nothing says “Full Moon” like the “Puppet Master” franchise. I am always surprised they come out with a new film and we are already up to the tenth entry! I have had mixed feelings about this franchise and this movie is no different. While it is better than the ninth installment, it is lacking the magic the first films had. Charles Band returns to write and direct this entry.
The movie continues where the previous movie left off. Danny and Beth have discovered that the Nazis have Tunneler and want to extract the serum from him to create super soldiers.

The story takes place after the Rapture has occurred and follows a particular two survivors -- Dana (Marlene Mc'Cohen) and Jeremy (Cuyle Carvin) -- and their attempt to get out of town, find other survivors, and seek some kind of safety - which may or may not exist.
Ryan tells us, "This is a great episode with a couple of new actors who do a terrific job, specifically Michael Reed as 'Seymour', Todd James Jackson as 'Issac', and Paul Thomas Arnold as 'Henry, aka The General'." Also appearing are Christopher Senger and Kori D. Wilson.
As for the aforementioned Episode 6, Ryan reveals, "I am almost finished editing.

Runaway Features & Press On Features have wrapped on their latest feature in Los Angeles, a Sci-Fi Thriller titled The Last Scout . Paul Tanter penned the script, with Simon Phillips taking to the directors chair. The duo are the creative force behind the UK smash hit White Collar Hooligan and have branched into the Sci-Fi genre.
The film is a futuristic story of a crew of astronauts searching for a new home for humanity after Earth has been devastated by a nuclear war between the East and the West. A four week shoot has just wrapped at Hollywood’s Laurel Canyon stages, where the company built a complete spaceship.
Tanter said: “After filming White Collar Hooligan 2 in New York last year, we’ve been keen to come back to the Us to shoot and this was the perfect vehicle to do so. As Sci-Fi geeks, this is something we’re very...

*mild Spoiler Alert. **full disclosure: an advanced online screener was supplied by Full Moon Features. Director: Charles Band. Writers: Charles Band and Shane Bitterling. Cast: Paul Thomas Arnold, Oto Brezina and Kip Canyon. The Puppet Master series has evolved to become a product totally different from its first few films. Instead of the murderous dolls that many fans loved, they are still humanity’s saviors in Puppet Master X: Axis Rising. The devotees who have followed the series should know that the sequence of movies is not in chronological order. They are not yet the 80's terrorists that they will become. Back in time, they were fighting for an American cause. In the latest two movies, the era is still the 40's. This new subset of “Axis” films makes Danny Coogin (Kip Canyon) the new Puppet Master. He found the puppets that Toulin left following his suicide. Where this new...
