- Dave Grohl, former drummer for Nirvana and founder, lead vocalist of Foo Fighters, has played all drums on their eponymous album Killing Joke (2003). As a long-term fan of Killing Joke, Dave Grohl declined to be paid for his work on the album.
- Current members of the band are Jaz Coleman (vocals, keyboards), Geordie Walker (guitars), Youth (bass) and Paul 'Sequence' Ferguson (drums).
- Killing Joke received the "Innovator Award" at the 2010 Classic Rock Roll of Honour. This award was presented to the band by Jimmy Page, the legendary guitarist of Led Zeppelin.
