Beate Malkus

Beate Malkus is an award winning German actress. She also studied law in Germany, Turkey and the Netherlands. After finishing theatre school in
Hannover, Germany, she ran through a clown education and worked with
great teachers like Philipe Gaulier and Pascale Ben. She performed in
theatre-productions all over Germany and plays leading characters in a
lot of films, among others in the international productions
'Afterwards' (2009) by Kivmars Bowling or 'Blissestrasse' (2011) by
Canadian director Paul Donovan. Fluent in several languages, Beate Malkus made her Canadian
television debut in 2014 starring in the TV Series Clay's P.O.V. by Paul
Donovan. In 2015, Beate Malkus won several awards for her lead performance
in the Swiss Sci-Fi movie 'Alekto'.
Aside of being actress, she devotes herself to human rights.
This work brought her to countries like Turkey, India and Iraq.
Beate Malkus lives with her son in Berlin.
