Born in Astoria, Queens the same neighborhood as his favorite actor Christopher Walken, and born at the exact center of the year, July 2, which is the 182nd and a half day from January 1st.

Is an avid pool player, having had played almost semi professionally after his Army years.

Frequently performs stand up comedy and has a penchant for dark comic roles in film.

Three of his early films dealt with the subject of suicide. Thankfully his characters survived 2 out of 3 times. Two out of three 'aint bad he says.

When he is not acting or auditioning for roles he likes to write plays, dark comedy screenplays, and is an amateur violinist and oil painter.

Is of Greek descent.

He studied drama at the HB Studios in Greenwich Village in New York City.

Graduated from Newtown High School (Class of '77) in Elmhurst, Queens, the same school as Carrol O'Connor and Don Rickles.

Enjoys living in Manhattan and all it has to offer particularly the restaurants, Central Park and the Met Museum. (April 2010)
