- Murielle Hilaire is a Franco-American actress and model, born and raised on the Caribbean Island and overseas region of France, Guadeloupe. Her feature film debut in the US was the 2023 thriller The Ritual Killer, where she starred alongside Cole Hauser and Morgan Freeman.
Her father is Creole of Scottish and West African descent and her mother, also Creole, is of European Jews, Lebanese, and South American Indian descent.
Murielle has been performing since age seven, beginning her career on stage portraying Esmerelda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Martine of Molière, from the popular Belgian children's novel of the same name.
She landed her first television role aged eighteen, portraying Cynthia in the French-produced Baie Des Flamboyants. Murielle spent her early twenties between Paris and New York, as a Model and Classical dancer. At age nineteen, Murielle started and continues to study with Jack Waltzer, who incorporates Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg's technique into the Meisner repetition work. Murielle continued landing series regular in French television shows. Such as Coeur Ocean and Death in Paradise.
