- Christian Taylor was born Christian Clark Johnson in Biloxi, Mississippi to Jim and Vicki Johnson. The first of four girls, Christian grew up in Laurel, Mississippi. She attended the Stony Brook School in Stony Brook, NY for high school where she fell in love with acting. Christian received her BA in Drama from The Catholic University in Washington, DC and immediately joined the nation's longest running national touring company, The National Players, as Muriel the Goat in George Orwell's Animal Farm and Hero in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.
Christian is a distinguished director, producer, writer, casting director, actor, and voice actor based in the Chicagoland area. With a career spanning over 45 years, she has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry across stage, screen, and with her voiceover work.
Christian is best known for her award-winning documentary, "The Girl Who Wore Freedom", which tells the poignant stories of D-Day from those who experienced it firsthand. Her work on this documentary has garnered widespread acclaim for its powerful storytelling and emotional depth. Additionally, Christian directed "Grueling Glory", another documentary that highlights her talent for capturing compelling narratives.
