Bellator
Bellator 129 was a forgettable event for the most part. Paul Bradley dominated Josh Neer, and Houston Alexander fought down to his last-minute competition, Virgil Zwicker, had a point deducted for headbutting, and wound up in a draw. Thankfully, there are better things ahead, and that starts with this week’s event, Bellator 130, which features the return of the pro wrestling superstar turned Mma fighter (actually, he’s straddled the fence and done both of late), Bobby Lashley.
At last glance, Lashley was no longer Tna champion – but he may still have gold in his future. Why? Well, a win at Bellator 130 could set him up for either a title fight, or a title eliminator.
The even better news is that Lashley is far from the only star on the card. This is the type of card that is comparable to a lot of Ufc Fight Night cards in name...

Don’t look now, but history may just be about to repeat itself: for the second time in recent Bellator Mma history, their heavyweight champion might retire while holding the title.
The first time this happened, it was undefeated Bellator heavyweight champion Cole Konrad, a former training partner of Ufc heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and a big part of Lesnar’s camp, Death Clutch, along with Pat Barry. After Lesnar retired at the end of 2011, Konrad and Barry kept Death Clutch going for a bit, but Konrad retired in 2012, saying he knew the writing was on the wall for him in the fight game: despite being a champ, he wasn’t fighting often enough, had a new family to consider, and didn’t have the personality to be a top star. Speaking to Mma Fighting after his retirement, Konrad stated “There’s great money there for top guys,...

Seen by many as the most legitimate threat to Ronda Rousey’s Bantamweight throne, recently signed Bantamweight fighter Sara McMann will make her Strikeforce debut against Liz Carmouche on 3rd November in Oklahoma City, reports Sherdog.com.
The show is headlined by the Daniel Cormier, Frank Mir Heavyweight clash and takes place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena and will air on Showtime in the United States.
McMann, the 2004 Freestyle Wrestling Olympic silver medallist, had her defining performance at Invicta Fc 2 back in July while Carmouche challenged, then, Strikeforce champion Marloes Coenen in 2011 and came up short submitting to a fourth round triangle.
31-year-old McMann made her Mixed Martial Arts debut just last year and has posted a winning streak of six victories in 14 months, remaining undefeated in that time. She has enjoyed big victories over the likes of Shayna Baszler, Hitomi Akano and Tonya Evinger and has won half of...

Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos (10-1, 1 Nc) is arguably the most dominant fighter in combat sports. Male or female. Blessed with amazing power and strength, Cyborg blasted her opponents with the type of savage Muay Thai you’d expect from the most lethal Chute Box fighters, such as Wanderlei, Shogun, and Anderson.
A fighter with her abilities and fire should be the legitimizing force in a sport desperately needing validation and its first mega-star. Yet the greatest female combatant to ever step into an octagon has destroyed her own legacy and left the entire sport of Women’s Mma in flames.
It all started on August 15, 2009 … but we’ll get back to that in just a second.
Part I: The Curse of Dominance
First, let’s look at Cris Santos. Cyborg didn’t just win her matches. She destroyed the women facing her so completely that they lost the will to fight.
