Another sprawling, convoluted, messy, and bloody season of Mirzapur has come to an end, and it has started another long wait for a new season of the crime-drama series. Just to put things into perspective, the first season was released in 2018, the second season was released in 2020, and the third season was released in 2024. Now, while I can’t say for sure when Mirzapur Season 4 is going to land on Prime Video, I am certain that it’ll get the green light because of its popularity and consistent storytelling. Just to be clear, there hasn’t been an official confirmation on whether or not a fourth season of Mirzapur will happen. All I can do is speculate and theorize about what might happen. So, allow me to put my tinfoil hat on and talk about my expectations from Mirzapur Season 4.

New Delhi, Aug 8 (Ians) Actress Jayati Narula, who has joined the family of ‘Aashiqana’ in the season four has heaped praises on the series director Gul Khan, saying she treated the show like her ‘baby’.

Gul Khan has created a world of her own for fans and audiences with ‘Aashiqana’ across seasons and we can’t seem to get enough.

Talking about working with Gul, Jayati shared: “The first time I got an opportunity to see Gul Khan in person, I was amazed by how she makes everything comfortable and warm with her presence. New Delhi, July 28 (Ians) Across seasons, audiences have loved the on-screen magic that Yash (played by Zayn Ibad Khan) and Chikki (played by Khushi Dubey) have created in the romantic thriller web series ‘Aashiqana’. Well, Zayn and Khushi share a great bond off-screen as well, and consider each other like family.

Talking about their bond, Zayn shared: “Khushi is a sweetheart. She’s not just just another co-star to me, she’s my family.”

“She brings so much peace and she is such a beautiful and wonderful human. She’s beautiful and India knows that, but she is just as beautiful in person and I feel lucky to know that. New Delhi, July 27 (Ians) Actor Zayn Ibad Khan had a ‘fan moment’ when he got the opportunity of sharing the screen space with veteran actress Himani Shivpuri in ‘Aashiqana’.

Himani has time and again charmed audiences with her performances across all her roles.

The actress is known for her character roles in Bollywood films and Hindi soap operas including ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Hero No. 1’, ‘Deewana Mastana’, ‘Bandhan’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Biwi No.1’, ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and ‘Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon’, among many others.

She is also currently seen as Katori ‘Katto’ Amma in the show ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’.

Talking about the same, Zayn said: “Working with Himani ma’am whom I have grown up watching was a wonderful experience. She has been working in the industry before I was even born, and working with her was such a blessing.

The audiences have witnessed actress Khushi Dubey in salwars and traditional wear, but now in ‘Aasiqana season 4’, her character, ‘Chikki’ is seen sporting trendy dresses and boots, inspired from Nancy Rue’s novels.

Talking about her looks on the show, Khushi said: “My look in this season is a fusion. There are going to be western dresses, boots, and the super cool look that we saw in Nancy Rue novels.”

Nancy is an American novelist, who is known for the ‘Lily Series’ of novels, featuring 12-year-old Lily Robbins. She is also known for the Sophie series.

Further, elaborating on her look, Khushi said: “We’ve kept it elegant and smart and have gone a little bit English, but not overdone it. It’s a little more simple yet glamorous. The look and feel is just like any other detective look, smart, casual and sexy.”

‘Naaginn’ actress Khushi Dubey, who is currently seen playing the role of Chikki in the third season of the web show ‘Aashiqana’, shared her experience of performing a dance sequence without any rehearsals with her co-actor Zayn Ibad Khan, who is playing Yash.

The actress, who is getting a chance to do stunts in the show, also had fun while shooting for a dance sequence and how she finished it in one take.

Khushi Dubey has been part of a number of popular TV shows such as ‘Naaginn’, ‘Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai’, ‘Baa Bahoo Aur Baby’, ‘Kasamh Se’, ‘Rakhi, Atoot Rishtey Ki Dor’, among others.

She said: “I remember when Yash and Chikki had a dance sequence and it was completely impromptu. We had not rehearsed the song and we finished it in one take. I remember, while dancing we were discussing what to do and I’m glad that audiences enjoyed our chemistry.

Elaborating on the same, the actress shared, “The audience is in for a surprise as Chikki will be seen performing stunts and action like never before in this season. There is thrice the action and drama and I am super excited. I have learnt many stunts, kicks, punches and various other moves. While it was challenging, I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. ‘Aashiqana 3’ is heavy on action and we are ready to bring a whole new series of twists and turns with us.”

Mumbai, Feb 21 (Ians) Actor Zayn Ibad Khan, who is gearing up for the upcoming third season of the streaming show ‘Aashiqana’, has shared that his character has a lot of learning and unlearning in the new season.

Elaborating on the same, Zayn Ibad Khan, who plays Yash in the series, said, “For Yash’s character, there are going to be a lot of changes because you know there’s a character graph and somehow here, this graph is heading towards completion. Yash is a conservative guy and from the past two seasons, he is in love with Chikki who is a very progressive woman. In season two, he has had the chance to explore his character mentally”.

He further mentioned, “He is trying to learn a lot of things in season 3. In season 3, he will try to unlearn a lot of wrong things that he has learnt from childhood about women.

The streaming series ‘Aashiqana’ is set to return with its third season and its trailer has amped up the curiosity. While crime and treachery fuelled the sizzling chemistry of Yash and Chikki, love kept them united even when they were apart. The trailer promises the new season to be bigger as audiences will witness the return of Karma, and how it affects the lives of the show leads – Yash and Chikki.

The trailer, which is a minute and a half in length, has generous amounts of love and thrill as a gang of assassins are on the loose in their pursuit of exacting revenge.

Actor Zayn Ibad Khan, who will be soon seen in the upcoming season of the romantic thriller ‘Aashiqana’, has shared that its second season will showcase how his character Yash reacts when his uniform is taken away from him. The trailer of the show was unveiled on Tuesday.

Talking about the new character developments, Zayn said in a statement: “In Season 1, we saw Yash in a powerful role as a celebrated cop, but in Season 2, we will see him in a completely new avatar. It explores his strengths and weaknesses when his uniform is taken away from him. I am very excited for this season because it takes a very unconventional tone with his marriage and chemistry with Chikki entering a new dimension.”
