Yves Wüthrich

Yves Wüthrich grew up in Basel and was a member of the youth club at the Junge Theater Basel, where he took part in various projects, including collaborations with Sebastian Nübling, Bruno Cathomas. After graduating from high school, he began studying acting at the Zurich University of Music and Theater, for which he received a scholarship from the Migros Culture Percentage in 2004 and completed it in 2006.
After his studies, Wüthrich appeared regularly as a guest at the Schauspielhaus Zurich and worked as a freelance actor. From 2011 to 2015 he was an ensemble member at the Theaterhaus Jena, where he worked with directors such as Christopher Rüping, Moritz Schönecker, Johanna Wehner and Anestis Azas. Seen in Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice in the roles of Lancelot and Nerissa at the Darmstadt State Theater in the 2014/2015 season. From 2016 to 2019 he was permanently employed at the Lucerne Theater.
He also appeared in numerous films and has been seen as Urs Aeggi in the ARD series "Money Murder Zurich" since the third episode.
