A published correspondent and photographer, Manuela Senatore uses
writing and filmmaking to explore social themes and draw attention to
everyday's heroes. Born and raised in Italy, she feels connected to the
tradition of Italian neorealism in film and literature. Visually she
tries to achieve a documentary, yet classically polished style. Manuela
has been involved in several aspects of film production, though writing
and directing is her main passion. She recently wrote and directed the
short film "A Journey to Homeland".
