Christine M. Soltis wrote her first novel circa 2002-2003. Since then, she has been steadily learning and sharpening her writing skills through a mixed medley of creations. From book writing to screenplays, travel destination guides, horror articles, environmental science perspective, investigative writing, nonfiction and much more, writing takes the top in her list of expertise. Christine has written first draft novels in as short as two to three days, ranging up to no longer than three weeks for draft completion. She has crafted 24 books at this time.
Christine is the Owner of SolsticeNightSky Productions, which encompasses her written works and also provides writing and editing services, along with public events and artistic collaborations. She is also the Owner of SolsticeNightSky Designs, which features handmade, natural stone jewelry with different "healing properties" and has a Native American jewelry influence. The most recent acting position for Christine included the role of "Stacy" in the upcoming short film, Malanak (2019) by Mountain Wind Productions. With a great love for acting, Christine made her movie debut in the short film, A Chemical Skyline (2010). From there, she took on several extras positions, one of which was in Pittsburgh's hybrid screen/stage production: Evenings in Quarantine; the Zombie Opera. After spending several months in Los Angeles, California, she played a part in a 15 minute nationally syndicated courtroom drama segment that aired on the Fox network and the CW, among others (2012). Other recent work includes a holiday short film, Holiday Heist, which was released in 2017. In addition to novel writing, Christine has previously been a contributing writer to The Globe, The Front Weekly, The Yahoo Network, Verdure Magazine, EscapeWizard.com, WhatsCheaper.com, Ravenous Monster and WIP Arts. Christine has scheduled dozens of book events and public intellectual panels in promotion of educational value. For several years, she used her video editing and recording skills to create videos under her company name, SolsticeNightSky Productions. Christine coordinated and hosted events at Rickert & Beagle bookstore for several years that included intellectually stimulating topics such as life on other planets, film discussion, Wicca and folklore, artificial intelligence, paranormal studies and psychic development.
Christine enjoys travel and hiking along with environmental volunteer activities for several organizations. She is a private investigator who conducts special investigations and appreciates anything that is intellectually stimulating of the mind.
