Tammy Tsang is an award-winning screenwriter, born and raised in Vancouver, and loves focusing on stories that uplift Canadians. Her story experience includes the development rooms of a AAA video game through The Coalition Studio and Indigenous series, Hey Cuzzin', and season twelve of When Calls the Heart (Hallmark). She has written and produced a number of short films including: Driving to You (2013), Rocking on Air (2019), Lauren in the Bathroom (2021) which screened at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival and won multiple awards in the Mighty Asian Moviemaking Marathon's Ultra Short Category including Best Screenplay and Best Director, and Operation: Stuplloyd (2023) which premiered at the Los Angeles International Children's Film Festival in March 2024. An alum of the Pacific Screenwriting Program's Scripted Series Lab 2022 cohort and a recipient of the 2022 Rogers-BSO Film Development Fund, Tammy is developing, Tabletop Club, a tween comedy series through the IPF Short Form Series Development Program and a feature film with ReelWorld's Emerging20 program. When not working on passion projects, she works as an assistant director in the film industry.
In the independent game development space, Tammy was one of three co-writers for The Widow's Shadow, a German Expressionist inspired visual novel game created for the 2023 Spooktober Game Jam and was nominated for Best Cinematography.
