Carlyn began dabbling in the practice of yoga at the age of 15, and was a certified teacher by the time she was 20. She graduated from Ryerson University's prestigious Theatre School in Toronto, Ontario. Outside her work as an actress, she has been a candle-maker, tarot card reader, yoga instructor, and an art director.
