By the time the title card drops in “A Tourist’s Guide To Love” (ten minutes in — the Netflix rom-com equivalent of the 40-minute wait in “Drive My Car”), we know exactly what we’re in for: The heartbroken heroine at the film’s center is going to experience a life-altering perspective shift via romance when embarking on a work trip. Acting as a travelogue for Vietnam with an adorable romantic comedy happening in the foreground, this sweetly spirited story isn’t terribly dissimilar from the streamer’s other offerings like “Love in the Villa” or “Resort to Love,” sating any viewers suffering from stunted wanderlust. Funny, poignant and simultaneously progressive and regressive, it may not add up to five-star escapism, but it’s a jovial jaunt worth taking.

High-powered Los Angeles travel agent Amanda Riley (Rachael Leigh Cook) is used to going above and beyond for her clientele, but not necessarily for herself.

This is half a Vietnamese production, as it is set in Vietnam when a woman heads there to learn about the tourist industry. Along the way she finds adventure and romance with her Vietnamese expat tour guide when they decide to reroute the tour bus in order to explore life and love off the beaten path. Exclusive: Emmy nominee Ben Feldman (Superstore), Missi Pyle (Y: The Last Man), Jacqueline Correa (Graduate), Nondumiso Tembe (Six), Morgan Lynee Dudley (The Prom), Andrew Barth Feldman (High School Musical: The Musical – The Series), Glynn Sweet (Rosamunde Pilcher) and Alexa Povah (The King’s Man) will round out the cast of Netflix’s romance A Tourist’s Guide to Love, joining an ensemble that also includes Rachael Leigh Cook, Scott Ly, Thanh Truc and Le Thien, as previously announced.

The second season of the Six TV show is coming to History in the new year. In advance of season two, History's Executive Vice President for Programming, Eli Leher, has given a little update. Reportedly, season two is just finishing production, and the cable network is looking forward to "growing" the scripted series. Gordon Ramsay had the 6 Hell's Kitchen finalists duke it out at the first annual VIP Charity Night.  The red and blue teams had the challenge of making 3 dishes in just 30 minutes with the winners receiving a high-end shopping spree. The losing team, however, had to stick around to prep for the Black Tie Charity Event.
