Anthony Cook is a filmmaker from Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born in
Cincinnati in 1986 and lived there until he was 18 years old. He
attended Purcell Marian High School were even at an early age he was
interested in filmmaking. In high school he and two of his other
friends would make sketch comedy videos on the weekends. Anthony then
went on to study at one of the finest liberal art schools in the
country Wittenberg University. There he fell in love with screen
writing and created his own major at Wittenberg. He combined theater,
creative writing, and management into a major entitled Screenwriting/
Film Production. His junior year he wrote the screenplay entitled
"Walbobs" in 2007 and his continually developing it for production.
During his time studying at Wittenberg he earned at internship in Los
Angeles, CA. Anthony's internship was for the company POW!
Entertainment which is owned by the legendary comic book writer Stan
Lee. During his internship for POW! Entertainment he filed documents,
did coverage on scripts, wrote press releases, critiqued writing,
critiqued shows, and continued learning about the film industry. After
graduating college in 2008 Anthony took some time off to study writing
and editing on his own. During this time he wrote his forth feature
screenplay and studied editing on his own. He also found the right
masters program for him and enrolled the next year at New York Film
Academy in Burbank, CA. Anthony is finished his MFA degree in
Filmmaking at New York Film Academy in Burbank, CA. For his thesis
project he directed/wrote/produced/stunt coordinated/and acted in his
first feature film "Walbobs" the script he wrote during his
undergraduate education.
