Maredith Walker
- Actress
- Additional Crew
Maredith first studied English and History in attendance at Wake Forest
University, including a semester abroad at the University of London.
Her passion and dreams of acting on camera only became a reality after
the start of her training in the Carolina Actors Group (based off of
the teachings of LA-based Playhouse West from instructor Robert
Carnegie). Eager to dive deeper into the Method training and other
aspects of film-making, she graduated a semester early with her B.A. in
English and a minor in History from WFU and immediately jumped into the
business. Between taking her work in acting class to new levels and
learning what it meant to create reality in imaginary circumstances,
Maredith was given opportunities to access all sides of production from
assistant line-producer to assistant editor to Key-Set PA to associate
producer. She also served as an instructor for the teen acting classes
at Carolina Actors Group. Armed with the ability to fully realize any
character handed to her and also the knowledge of the "business" of
acting and production, Maredith made the move to Los Angeles in
November of 2011. She has since been a part of numerous commercials and
TV spots (The Doctors, Toshiba, Sprint LG, E!) and even received
national attention (CNN, FOX, etc.) for a comedic, political YouTube
video that went viral overnight. Her theatrical training has continued
under Steve Braun and various casting directors at ActNow.
