Biography

She was named by her father, a chef, who named her after one of his favorite cooking instruments a mandoline. He said he knew his daughter would shine brightly and that she would be razor sharp... just like his mandoline.

At 15 years old, Mandalynn started working on her Associates Degree in Film Studies, achieving her goal to enroll in college younger than her grandmother who was 16 when she became a Badger at UW.

Mandalynn is an only child. She lives with her parents and her lab-mix puppy Deli. Homeschooled, she is a straight A student.

Is an only child. Her parents, Sherri and Eric Carlson own a film catering company. Being on set with her parents and meeting actors took hold of Mandalynn at an early age.

Mandalynn landed her first supporting role in a major feature at 10 years old. Machine Gun Preacher (2011) with Gerard Butler.
