Disney Xd has picked up to series Mighty Med, a live-action comedy inspired by the world of superheroes and comic books. I am a Huge fan of the Madea films and Perry continues to show his comic talent in this latest adventure that pairs Madea with American Reunion’s Eugene Levy as a nice guy that suddenly discovers he was laundering money for the Mafia. Levy and his family can’t be placed in regular witness protection so they’re forced to hide out with Madea. However, this film adds a twist by taking her out of her element and sending her to New York. The Big Apple will never be the same again.

Lionsgate and Tyler Perry have announced the commencement of production of Madea.S Witness Protection. The film marks the prolific filmmaker and multi-media tycoon.s 14th feature film production with Lionsgate in seven years. And that's probably why Tyler Perry is gearing up for "Madea's Witness Protection" — the next installment in a franchise he writes, directs and stars in. (No, this isn't the flick with Kim Kardashian playing a marriage counselor… it's another one.)

Well, the auteur (can we call him that?) has named three of his next stars: Denise Richards, Eugene Levy and Romeo Miller.

Levy (whom you'll remember most vividly from "American Pie") will play a man who, after his investment company goes belly-up due to an investing scandal, is forced into witness protection with his family and relocated from a wealthy Connecticut neighborhood to Madea's home in the deep South. Fish out of water, anyone?

Richards will play Levy's (trophy) wife, whom we're guessing isn't enjoying her new digs too much. Complicating matters even further, Miller (best known as just Li'l Romeo...

Denise Richards, Eugene Levy and Romeo Miller will star with Tyler Perry in Perry's next directorial effort "Madea’s Witness Protection" for Lionsgate says The Hollywood Reporter.

Levy will play a wealthy Connecticut man who is put into witness protection with his wife (Richards) and family, their new residence being Madea’s home in the South

Perry reprises the role of the gun-toting, sassy-mouthed Madea. Miller will play a man who believes Levy is responsible for his church’s investments being wiped out and wants to take the law into his own hands.

Doris Roberts, Devan Leos, Tom Arnold and Danielle Campbell also star while Paul Hall and Ozzie Areu will produce. Shooting kicks off in Atlanta next week.
